🌮 Cadac Recipe: Smokey Chicken Fajita Wraps

There’s nothing like the smell of sizzling spices and seared peppers drifting across the campsite — and these Smokey Chicken Fajita Wraps are just the ticket for a quick, hearty meal on your Cadac grill.
Whether you’re cooking for two or feeding a hungry group after a long day exploring, this recipe brings the flavour without the fuss. It’s customisable, easy to prep, and works beautifully on a Cadac Skottel, BBQ Grid, or Paella Pan.
🍗 Ingredients (Serves 2–4):
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp garlic granules or powder
Salt & pepper to taste
4 flour tortillas
Optional toppings:
Sour cream
Grated cheese
Salsa
Jalapeños
Sliced avocado
Lime wedges
🔥 Cooking Method:
Preheat your Cadac grill on medium heat.
Toss the chicken strips in a bowl with olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper until evenly coated.
Add chicken to the grill and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Stir in the peppers and onions, cooking for another 5–7 minutes until soft, charred, and full of flavour.
Warm your tortillas briefly on the grill (or wrap in foil and heat on the side).
Build your fajitas: Spoon the chicken and veg into tortillas, then add your favourite toppings.

If you’re short on prep time, use pre-marinated chicken or ready-made fajita seasoning. And for a veggie version, swap chicken for halloumi or mushrooms — just as tasty!
