There’s nothing quite like enjoying a sweet, gooey treat straight off the Cadac grill under the open sky — and these Grilled Berry & White Chocolate Quesadillas deliver exactly that. Quick, fuss-free, and full of flavour, this is one of those campsite recipes that feels like a proper dessert without the need for an oven!
Whether you’re away for a weekend in your motorhome or pitched up for a family caravan holiday, this simple dish is a real crowd-pleaser — especially when you want something warm and indulgent after a day of adventure.
🍓
Ingredients (Serves 2–4):
2–4 flour tortillas (any size)
A handful of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries – fresh or frozen)
4 tbsp white chocolate chips or chunks
Butter or cooking spray
Optional: icing sugar, Greek yoghurt or whipped cream for serving
🔥
Method:
Preheat your Cadac grill — the BBQ plate or flat pan works best for this one.
Lay out your tortilla and scatter one half with berries and white chocolate chips.
Fold the tortilla in half to create a quesadilla shape, pressing gently to keep it together.
Lightly grease the grill surface with butter or cooking spray and place your folded quesadillas seam-side down.
Grill for 2–3 minutes per side, flipping once, until golden brown and the chocolate has melted.
Slice into wedges and serve warm. Add a dollop of cream or a sprinkle of icing sugar if you fancy a little extra flair!
🏕️ Why We Love It
Only a handful of ingredients
Ready in 10 minutes
Works brilliantly on a Cadac
Easy for kids to get involved with (supervised!)
Customisable — try swapping berries for bananas or adding crushed biscuits for crunch
💡
Top Tip from IDS Camping & Leisure:
Want to avoid leaks or mess? Wrap each quesadilla in foil before grilling — it makes flipping easier and keeps all that gooey goodness inside.
