How to Cook Nachos on a Cadac BBQ
Step 1: Preheat Your Cadac
Preheat your Cadac BBQ on medium heat for 3–5 minutes.
Place your Paella Pan or BBQ Top on the grill.
Step 2: Warm the Beans
Pour the Heinz Baked Beans into the pan.
Add:
Smoked paprika
Chopped onion
Chopped red pepper
Heat gently for 4–5 minutes until warmed through.
Do not overheat — beans can thicken quickly.
Step 3: Build the Nachos
Reduce heat to low.
Spread tortilla chips evenly in the pan around the beans.
Spoon beans across the chips.
Sprinkle grated cheese generously over the top.
Add jalapeños if using.
Step 4: Melt the Cheese
Close the BBQ lid if you have one.
Cook on low heat for 3–5 minutes until cheese melts.
If no lid, cover loosely with foil to help trap heat.
Watch carefully to avoid burning the base.
Step 5: Serve
Remove from heat.
Top with:
Sour cream
Spring onions
Extra cheese
Cracked black pepper
Serve straight from the pan — perfect campsite comfort food.
